Sync parent and guardian details (SIS)

If your school uses a supported School Information System (SIS), you can set up an automatic sync of your parent and guardian’s details into School Manager.

School Manager supports syncing parent and guardian data from:

• OneRoster
• ClassLink
• Global Grid for Learning (GG4L)
• Clever

Set up SIS sync for parent and guardian details

If your School Manager already has one of the supported SIS integrations set up, you can edit the existing integration to allow the sync of parent and guardian details.

Set up a new SIS integration

1. Follow the instructions to set up an integration for:
   1. OneRoster or Global Grid for Learning (GG4L)
   2. ClassLink
   3. Clever
2. Select the Sync Parent Data checkbox.
3. Select Submit.

Editing an existing SIS integration

1. Go to Configuration > Authentication > SIS Integration (OneRoster, Classlink or GG4L) OR Configuration > Authentication > Clever.
2. Select Edit on the existing integration you want to use.
3. Select the Sync Parent Data checkbox.
4. Select Submit.

Sync Statuses

If the sync is successful, you can check if the parent and guardian information has been updated on the students’ Manage User page by going to Configuration > Users and Groups > Users > Select the student’s username. The following examples indicate the source of the parent and guardian data and that they have been added to their student through SIS integration.
