Turn on Community's Pause Internet feature

Community's Pause Internet feature allows parents and guardians to pause internet access on their child’s devices using the Qustodio app. 

When can parents or guardians pause the internet?

You can set Pause Internet to allow parents and guardians to pause the internet only outside school hours or at any time including during school hours (24/7). 

Outside School Hours

You must set school hours and days if you want to allow a parent or guardian to pause internet access only outside school hours. Use this option to prevent disruptions to a student’s internet access while they are at school.

If a parent or guardian pauses a student's internet during school hours, check your Calendar settings to confirm the correct days and times are set. If the Calendar is correct, contact Linewize Support.

At any time (24/7)

Allow parents to pause the Internet on a child’s device anytime, including during the school day. 

Turn on Pause Internet

1. In School Manager, go to Configuration > Community > Configure Community.
2. Go to Pause Internet.
3. Select Allow Pause Internet.
4. Select one of the following:
   • Allow Pause Outside School Hours.
   • Allow Pause 24/7.
5. Select Save.
