Enabling Community's Pause Internet feature in School Manager

The Qustodio Parents app lets parents manage their children’s online activities at home or school. Community's Pause Internet feature allows parents to pause internet access on a child’s school-managed devices via the Qustodio app. You can enable Pause Internet to work all the time (24/7) or only outside school hours.

Enable Pause Internet in School Manager outside of school hours only

Enabling Pause Internet out of school hours will allow parents to pause the internet on a child’s school-managed device only outside of the hours you set in your School Calendar.

1. Set School Calendar

You must set school hours and days to allow a parent to pause internet access outside school hours.

1. In School Manager, go to Configuration > Calendar.
2. Enter a Start time and End time in 24-hour clock time. This is the time period that you don’tt want parents to be able to pause the internet.
3. Select the Days using the checkboxes.
   
4. Select Save.

2. Enable Pause Internet in School Manager

1. In School Manager, go to Configuration > Community > Configure Community.
2. Go to Pause Internet.
3. Select Allow Pause Internet.
4. Select School Hours Time Period.
5. Select Save.
   

Enable Pause Internet 24/7

Enabling Pause Internet in 24/7 mode will allow parents to pause the internet on a child’s device at any time, including during the school day.

1. In School Manager, go to Configuration > Community > Configure Community.
2. Go to Pause Internet.
3. Select Allow Pause Internet.
4. Select Allow Pause 24/7.
5. Select Save.
