Create a Bypass Code in Linewize Filter

Important

Bypass Codes will only work with a Linewize Filter appliance, Connect for Chrome and Connect for Windows in Companion mode.

Global Administrators, Filtering Administrators, and Filtering Reporting Administrators in Linewize Filter can create a Bypass Code to grant users temporary access to blocked content that isn’t in a Locked policy. You can check the details of any Bypass Codes created in Linewize Filter and Classwize

  1. In Linewize Filter, go to Filtering > Bypass Codes.
  2. Select Add Code.
  3. Select a duration from the dropdown menu (10 minutes to 3 hours), then select Add.

Tip

You can turn on Bypass Codes for Classwize to let teachers create Bypass Codes for their students to use during class.
