Warning
Do not enable Classlink’s DataGuard on any fields for your Linewize products without contacting Linewize support first. Enabling DataGuard may prevent your Linewize solutions from working as needed. For more information, read Linewize Filter and Classlink's DataGuard.
Linewize Filter supports the ClassLink Single Sign-On (SSO) platform to authenticate Classroom Manager users.
Before You Begin
- You must have access to Configuration in Linewize Filter.
- Complete the Integrating ClassLink steps before enabling ClassLink SSO.
- Access to your ClassLink administrator account
- Your device_ID found in Linewize Filter
- A minimum of 15 minutes for configuration.
Enable ClassLink SSO
- In Linewize Filter, go to Configuration > Classroom Manager.
- Under the Sign in options, check the Allow ClassLink sign in checkbox.
- Select Save.
- Sign in to ClassLink Launchpad using your administrator account.
- Select Management Console.
- Go to Applications > Add & Assign Apps.
- Find Classroom Manager, select the three dots > Copy Application. This will create a copy name Classroom Manager(1) that you can edit. Select the three dots > Edit Application.
- In the Web Address field, replace it with:
https://launchpad.classlink.com/oauth2/v2/auth?scope=full&redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Fclassroom.us-1.familyzone.io%2Flogin%2Fclasslink&client_id=c1597368728114b8ac3b326cc5ed972837e0adc592c7&response_type=code&state=[device_id]
Note
The device_id is your school’s ID, normally beginning with PHYS-
- For the Application Name, rename the new app as Classroom Manager. Select Save.
- Find your new app and select Assign. Add the same roles you have set in the old Classroom Manager app, then close the window.
- Select the three dots on the old Classroom Manager app and select Disable Application.
- Go back to the ClassLink Launchpad, you now will be automatically signed in to Classroom Manager via the new app.
