Do not turn on Classlink’s DataGuard on any fields for your Linewize products without contacting Linewize Support first.
ClassLink’s DataGuard is an Identity and Access Management (IAM) tool that limits what data ClassLink shares with other applications, including Linewize Filter. Turning on DataGuard may prevent your Linewize solutions from functioning as intended. Key Linewize Filter and Classwize functions rely on ClassLink data, including the creation of reports and the correct application of filtering policies.
We are developing a DataGuard configuration profile that will let you turn on DataGuard without affecting your Linewize Filter or Classwize experience. Until then, do not turn on DataGuard on any fields without first contacting Linewize Support or your Customer Success Manager.
Is my data protected without DataGuard?
Privacy is of critical importance to Linewize. We collect and use data strictly in accordance with best practices and relevant laws. We collect only the minimum information necessary and retain it for as long as is necessary to provide our services, or until you instruct us to delete it. Your data is never shared with anyone else.

What happens if I don’t activate the DataGuard?
Your products will continue to operate as usual without interruption to your service. You do not need to take any further action.
