You can drive Classwize adoption and reduce your workload by encouraging users to complete Classwize Training in the Academy. The Academy is Qoria’s product training platform. It provides certified courses and video tutorials for your end users on using Classwize. After signing in to Classwize for the first time, users can view and complete the Academy’s training at any time. They can also complete training more than once.
A coordinated email campaign is an effective way to launch Classwize to your users. The Academy provides several customisable, ready-to-use email templates designed to introduce Classwize to your users and teach them how to incorporate Classwize's tools and features into their daily teaching practices.
Before you begin
- Academy content is best for schools using Linewize Connect for Chrome or Linewize Companion Mode. Schools using Connect for macOS or Connect for Windows may find that training doesn't fully reflect their users’ experience.
- You must have a Linewize Filter account with the Owner/Global Administrator role.
- Add any new teachers to your Teacher Group.
Create your Academy Launch Plan
1. Choose your templates
The Academy has several different templates to choose from. You can use one, two, or all templates as part of your communication plan. You can preview the available templates in Linewize Filter > Product Training > Classwize Training.

2. Choose when to send
Next, choose when and how often you want to send each email. If launching Classwize at your school, it’s better to start early and send several emails to ensure all users have a chance to complete training before the school year begins. You may also want to promote training as part of professional development or as a back-to-school refresher. Remember, you can customise the templates to meet your specific needs!
3. Import and customise templates
You can download the Academy's customisable templates from Linewize Filter.
- Sign in to Linewize Filter.
- Go to Product Training > Classwize Training.
- Copy or download the templates and customise them as needed.
4. Turn on Classwize Training
You may need to turn on the Classwize Training module in Linewize Filter > Product Training > Overview if this is your first time promoting Academy training to your users. Classwize users won’t be able to access their Academy training until you turn on their training module.
5. Start your campaign!
Schedule and send your emails.
6. Check completion and follow up
The Academy tracks which Classwize users have completed each certified course and when they completed the course. An authorised contact person from your school or district can ask your Linewize Success or Account Manager for a list of users who have completed certified Classwize training courses. You can use this list to identify users who may need additional support or encouragement to complete training or incorporate Classwize into their daily teaching practices.
