Add a Teacher to a Group

If your school uses Classwize, follow these steps to add teachers to a Local Teacher Group.

If your School Directory syncs with Linewize Filter, sync your teacher groups to Classwize.

Before you begin

 

Add a Teacher to a Local Group

Info

You can add a Local or Synced User to multiple Local Groups. For example, Teacher A can be a member of both Teacher and Administration groups.

  1. Go to Configuration > Users and Groups > Users.
  2. Find the user, then select their Username.
  3. In the Group Membership section, search for the group’s name by entering three or more characters, then select the group from the search results.
  4. Repeat step 3 until all groups have been added.
  5. Select Save.
