This article can help you resolve Content Aware problems. If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve your issue, contact Linewize Support.
Step 1: Check the Firewall Allowlist
- Ensure the Content Aware ports and domains are added to your school's firewall allowlist.
Step 2: Check the Content Aware Extension
- Open your browser, select the three dots > Extensions > Manage Extensions.
- Ensure the Content Aware extension is blue (active) and not grey (inactive).
Step 3: Reset Content Aware
- In School Manager, go to Filtering > Content Aware.
- Uncheck all the checkboxes and select Save.
- Wait a few minutes, then reapply your settings and select Save again.
- Test Content Aware on the URL that is experiencing issues.
Step 4: Change Sensitivity
- In School Manager, go to Filtering > Content Aware.
- Change the Sensitivity Level and select Save.
- Test Content Aware on the URL that is experiencing issues.
Step 5: Collect Console Logs
- Go to the URL that is experiencing issues.
- Right-click > Inspect.
- Go to the Console tab.
- Right-click anywhere on the Console tab and select Save as.
- Save the log file.
Step 6: Contact Linewize Support
Include the following information in your ticket to Linewize Support.
- Are you experiencing issues on-network or off-network?
- What specifications does the device have?
- Are all the images not blurred or only certain images?
- Is the Content Aware extension active?
- Is the Content Aware extension receiving the correct category?
- Link the impacted URL.
- If this URL requires signing in, provide temporary sign-in details.
- Attach the Console Logs from Step 5 to the ticket.
