Check if Community has been deployed on the student’s device correctly

If you’re experiencing issues with Community, follow these steps to verify if Community is correctly installed on the student's device.

Windows

  1. On the right-hand side of the Windows taskbar, find the Linewize and Qustodio icons.
  2. If the icons are not visible, select the arrow to display hidden icons.
  3. Hover over the Qustodio icon to ensure it shows as active.
  4. Hover over the Linewize icon to confirm the version number is displayed.
    1. Select the Linewize icon and confirm that the student’s name is displayed.
      1. During school hours: It will show not under Parental Control.
      2. Outside of school hours: It will show under Parental Control.

If these icons are not visible or inactive, deploy Community again.

Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome and enter chrome://extensions/ in the address bar.
  2. Ensure that both the Qustodio and Linewize extensions are active.

If these extensions are not visible or inactive, deploy the Community extension again.
