Reset a forgotten password

This article is for all Linewize Filter users.

You can change your password regularly to help keep your users’ data and systems secure.

If you can sign in and want to change your password, see Change your password in Linewize Filter.

Important

These steps don’t apply to users who sign in with a Google or Microsoft account. If you can’t sign in to Linewize Filter using your Google or Microsoft sign in, or need to reset your Google or Microsoft password, contact your school's IT Support.

Reset Your Password

  1. Go to your Linewize Filter sign-in page. The URL you use to sign in depends on your region. Use Sign in to Linewize Filter to find the correct web address for your region.
  2. Select Forgot your password?
  3. Enter your Linewize Filter email address in the box, then select Send Email.
  4. Check for a Reset your Linewize password email.

    Tip

    If you don’t receive a reset email, confirm you entered the correct email address and check your spam folder before contacting your IT Support for help.

  5. Confirm the password reset by selecting the click here link.
  6. Enter the same 12-character password in the password boxes. See Password Tips for strong password recommendations
  7. Select Set Password.
