Deploy Windows ADMX Templates for authentication using Intune

This article explains how to deploy the Windows and Qoria ADMX templates using Microsoft Intune. This applies to schools using Connect for Windows 5.1.0 or later.

Before you begin

1. You must have access to Agent Downloads in Linewize Filter.
2. You must have administrator access to Microsoft Intune.

Deploy the Windows ADMX template

1. Check whether Windows ADMX is already installed.
1. Check C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions for the ADMX files
2. Check C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions\en-US for the ADML files.
2. In the Microsoft Intune admin center, go to Devices > Configuration.
3. Select the Import ADMX tab.
4. Select Import.
5. Select the Windows ADMX and ADML files on the ADMX file upload tab, then select Next.
6. Review the settings on the Review + create tab, then select Create.

Deploy the Qoria ADMX template

Import ADMX templates

1. In Linewize Filter, go to Configuration > Agents Download.
2. Select Download ADMX.
3. In the Microsoft Intune admin center, go to Devices > Configuration.
4. Select the Import ADMX tab.
5. Select Import.
6. Select the Qoria ADMX and ADML files on the ADMX file upload tab, then select Next.
7. Review the settings on the Review + create tab, then select Create.

Create a Policy to deploy the template

1. In the Microsoft Intune admin center, go to Devices > Configuration.
2. Select Create > New Policy.
3. Select Windows 10 and later from the Platform dropdown.
4. Select Templates from the Profile type dropdown.
5. Select Imported Administrative templates (Preview), then select Create.
6. Select Computer Configuration > Qoria > Application.
7. Select each setting, turn it on, and enter the required value. You can copy the Device ID or Pre-shared Key from Linewize Filter by going to Configuration > Agent Downloads, then selecting Copy Device ID or Copy Preshared Key.
1. Device ID: Add your school’s Linewize Filter Device ID. If your school uses Multi-Device Management, enter only the Parent Device ID.
2. Device Region: Select the region associated with your Linewize Filter Appliance from the dropdown.
3. Pre-shared Key: Add your school’s Linewize Filter Device Key.
8. Select Next.
9. On the Scope tags tab, select Next.
10. On the Assignments tab, below Included Groups, select Add groups.
11. Select the group checkbox, then select Next.
12. On the Review + Create tab, select Create.
