Linewize maintains a list of words and phrases with assigned values based on how strongly they relate to inappropriate content. When a user browses the internet, Content-aware text analysis checks written content in real time against Linewize’s list to determine if a webpage has explicit content or instructions for avoiding filtering. If a webpage is deemed inappropriate, Content-aware will block access to it and show a Linewize Block page instead.
Before you begin
- Go to Filtering > Content Filtering and check if your school has a filtering policy that blocks the “Malware and Hacking”, “Mature and Explicit” and "Gaming" themes. If your school doesn’t block the themes, create a filtering policy to block them.
- If your school can’t block the themes, you can create a filtering policy to block these categories: Proxies and VPNs, Adult Mixed Content, Pornography and Video Games.
Turn on Text Analysis
- Go to Filtering > Content Aware > Text.
- Select the Turn on real-time text analysis checkbox.
- Select Save.
