Add a Local User to a Group

This article is for IT Support. 

You can add a User to a Group temporarily or for testing purposes.

  1. Go to Configuration > Users and Groups > Users.
  2. Find the user, then select their Username.
  3. In the Group Membership section, search for the group’s name by entering three or more characters, then select the group from the search results.
  4. Repeat step 3 until all groups have been added.
  5. Select Save.
