Edit a Local User

You can edit Local Users in Linewize Filter to update their Name, Password, Parent, Group or School.

Info

You can’t edit Synced Users in Linewize Filter. Instead, you must update the user in your School Directory and then sync with Linewize Filter.

To edit a Local User:

  1. Go to Configuration > Users and Groups > Users.
  2. Find the user, then select the Username.
  3. On the Manage User page, you can edit:
    1. First Name
    2. Last Name
    3. Password (Contact Linewize Support to turn on this feature)
    4. Parent
    5. Group Membership
    6. Schools
  4. Select Save.
