The “Copilot” tab is not part of this modification but can be blocked separately by a Content Filter policy (copilot.microsoft.com). Hide Britannica Chatbot Hides the built-in Britannica Chatbot from appearing in search results or on Britannica pages. Hide Google AI Overview Hides Google’s AI Overview from showing in search results, and shows a blank page if users go to the ‘AI Mode’ tab. Hide Google Translate Hides the built-in Google Translate tool in search results, preventing student use while keeping Google Search accessible. Hide Reddit Login Blocks Reddit login/signup functionality and hides the login page. Hide YouTube Comments Removes the comments section on YouTube videos. Hide YouTube Description Hides video descriptions below YouTube videos. Hide YouTube Menu Hides YouTube’s left navigation menu. Students can still access links directly if they know the URL. Use Criteria to set who the policy will apply to.
Note
Selecting multiple criteria in a policy requires all criteria types to be true for the policy to apply. For example, if you select a Group and Network criteria for a policy, the policy will only apply to users in the selected group and on the IP subnet.
- Select Save Policy.
- Turn the policy on by selecting the toggle.
