Set different Filtering Modes for groups of users

Depending on your school's needs, you can use a different Linewize Connect Filtering mode than your default filtering mode on a group of users. You can create Local School Manager Groups or use Synchronized Groups from your school’s information system.

Important

  1. In School Manager, go to Configuration > Mobile Agent.
  2. In the On School Manager Network or Off School Manager Network section, ensure that Filtering Enabled is turned on.
  3. Depending on your default Filtering mode:
    1. Go to the DNS Filtering Groups, WEB Filtering Groups or COMPANION Filtering Groups section.
    2. Select the Search Groups field.
  4. Enter at least three or more characters to search for a group and select the Group name from the list.
  5. (Optional) Repeat step 4 to add more groups.
  6. Select Save in the bottom right corner.
