Depending on your school's needs, you can use a different Linewize Connect Filtering mode than your default filtering mode on a group of users. You can create Local School Manager Groups or use Synchronized Groups from your school’s information system.
Important
- If you have a Physical School Manager appliance, you can use different modes on and off the School Manager Network.
- If your school uses Cloud Filtering, you must configure the Off School Manager Network section.
- In School Manager, go to Configuration > Mobile Agent.
- In the On School Manager Network or Off School Manager Network section, ensure that Filtering Enabled is turned on.
- Depending on your default Filtering mode:
- Go to the DNS Filtering Groups, WEB Filtering Groups or COMPANION Filtering Groups section.
- Select the Search Groups field.
- Enter at least three or more characters to search for a group and select the Group name from the list.
- (Optional) Repeat step 4 to add more groups.
- Select Save in the bottom right corner.
