You can deploy Content Aware to Windows Companion Mode devices using Group Policy.
Before you begin
- You must have access to Configuration in Linewize Filter.
- Set up Companion Mode.
- Add the Content Aware ports and domains to your school firewall allowlist.
- Set up Content Aware.
Deploy Content Aware using Group Policy
- In Linewize Filter, go to Configuration > Agents Download.
- Select Copy Download URL and paste this for later use.
- Open Group Policy Management, then go to Google > Google Chrome > Extensions.
- Select Configure extension management settings, then select Enabled.

Replace https://download.qoria.com/browser/APPLIANCEID with the Download URL you copied earlier. Make sure APPLIANCEID matches your Linewize Filter Appliance Device ID.
- Select Apply, then OK.
- Select the Group Policy Object (GPO) from the list, then go to the Security Filtering section.
- Select Add, then search and add users, computers, or groups that should apply to the GPO.
