Help split families use Community

You can add multiple parents or guardians to Community for split family arrangements. We recommend adding parents or guardians to the same Qustodio account unless there are serious concerns with one another.

1. Add multiple parents or guardians

Add multiple parents or guardians to a student in School Manager, allowing both to connect to their child in Qustodio.

2. Parents or guardians create separate accounts

Parents or guardians must visit qustodio.com/my-school and create an account using the email address your school has linked to the student.

3. Parents or guardians set rules

The first parent or guardian to complete their Qustodio account setup first will be able to set rules for their child’s school managed device and will see Apply rules on school devices toggled on in their Qustodio account under the Rules menu.

4. Hand over rules management to other parent or guardian

The primary parent or guardian must toggle off Apply rules on school devices in their account. The other parent or guardian can then turn it on in their account.
