Check Connect for Windows or macOS is installed correctly

You can use the Connect diagnostic page to verify that the Connect app and Authentication Agent are properly installed on student devices and that the correct user is logged in.

Important

The diagnostic page can only be used for:

  • Connect for Windows version 4.1.7 or newer.
  • Connect for macOS version 3.6.6 or newer.

Check diagnostics page

Open your Internet browser and go to http://127.0.0.1:5110

Check if Connect is installed

If the diagnostic page does not load, Connect may not be installed on the device.

Install Connect for Windows or macOS if needed, and try accessing the diagnostic page again.

Check the correct user is logged in

If the diagnostic page loads, but no user is logged in or the wrong user is logged in, this means the Authentication Agent may not be installed or configured correctly.

Install the Authentication Agent for Windows or macOS and check that the diagnostic page shows the correct user.
