Linewize Companion Mode Overview

Companion Mode lets you use features that were previously only available for ChromeOS devices on managed Windows devices to enhance your filtering and Classroom management. 

Contact your Linewize Success/Account manager if you’d like to use Companion Mode for your school.

Companion Mode features

Companion mode gives you access to:

• Enhanced reporting from Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers by recording the full URL for web traffic from the browsers.
• Content modification.
• Bypass codes.
• All Classwize functions.

Prerequisites for using Companion Mode

Before implementing Companion Mode, ensure your school has:

• Managed Windows devices at your school.
• Met Linewize Connect Minimum System Requirements.
