Viewing student devices in SCP

This article discusses how to see if a student is associated with a device in School Community Platform (SCP).

Searching for students with devices

1. In SCP, go to Users > Students

2. Select the Filter icon. On the first dropdown, select Has A Device. On the second dropdown, select Yes

3. Select Apply Filter

4. Select a student from the list
5. On the Devices section, you can see the Device Type, Name, Mac Address and any Alerts

6. Select the device name to see more information such as the Name, Owner, Mac Address and IP address

Searching for students without devices

1. In SCP, go to Users > Students

2. Select the Filter icon. On the first dropdown, select Has A Device. On the second dropdown, select No

3. Select Apply Filter

4. If you would like to allocate a device to a student, you will need to manually activate the device or configure Student Auto Enrolment
