Filtering Reports and Alerts Overview

This article is for all users. 

You can set up automated Filtering Reports and Alerts in Linewize Filter to monitor your users' well-being and spot changes in their device use or online activity.

There are two types of filtering reports:

  1. Realtime Reports
  2. Periodic Reports

Tip

If you’re unsure if an email report is genuine, check the sender's address.

Realtime Reports

Linewize Filter sends Realtime Reports within 15 minutes or less after a user triggers an event. If you monitor your users’ devices 24/7, Linewize Filter will send Realtime Reports anytime, including evenings and weekends.

Report Name Description Recommended for
Teacher Modified Class Users A summary of a teacher's changes to the students in a Classwize synced classroom. IT Support
Filtering Alerts An alert for when a filtering policy blocks a user or group. School Leadership, Wellbeing staff
Red Flags An alert for when a user is blocked from accessing Red Flag content. School Leadership, Wellbeing staff

Periodic Reports

Linewize Filter sends Periodic Reports on a schedule:

Daily - Sent each day and includes data from the previous day, covering 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM (local time). 

Weekly - Sent on Mondays (local time) and includes data from the previous Monday 12:00 AM to Sunday 11:59 PM.

Weekly Wellbeing Report A list of users with the highest number of Red Flags from Monday to Sunday of the previous week. Wellbeing staff
Daily Alert Digest The top 10 most attempts to access content blocked by a filtering policy with alerts turned on. School Leadership, Wellbeing staff
