Create Temporary Sessions

You can create a Temporary Session to give all users or unauthenticated devices (BYOD) limited-time access to the school network. You can also create a Temporary Session for a Local User.

You can use Timeouts to set custom durations for Temporary Sessions.

  1. Go to Statistics > Realtime > Users and Hosts.
  2. In the search bar, enter the user’s IP Address or Username.
  3. Select the three dots, then select Create Session. The Create Temporary Session window will appear.
  4. Enter their Username, Email or Name.
  5. Select Create Session.

You can end the session by selecting the three dots, then select Remove Session.
