The parent or guardian’s Qustodio account has a different email address
Community will only allow users to connect to their children if their Qustodio parent account email address matches the one in School Manager.
If you’re syncing parent and guardian details from a School Information System, update the parent or guardian’s email address in your school’s SIS.
If you’ve added parent and guardian details to School Manager using a CSV, update the parent or guardian’s email address in School Manager > Community > Parent Management > Edit Parent Details.
The parent can use the school parent and guardian registration link to login and connect to their child’s school-managed device once their email addresses in Qustodio and School Manager match.
The parent or guardian details have not been added to School Manager
If the parent or guardian sees the message “This doesn’t seem to match the email your school sent the invite to.”, their details have not been added to School Manager.
Check if the parent or guardian should have access to Qustodio and the student. If so, you must add the parent or guardian to School Manager using your preferred method.
The parent or guardian has created a Qustodio Account without using your school provided link
Parents and guardians must use the registration link you provide them. Ask the parent to try connecting to their child again using your school’s registration link. If the parent can’t connect to their child, please contact Linewize Support for help.
The parent or guardian is disconnected from the student
If a parent or guardian is disconnected from a student, check if someone has removed or disconnected them intentionally.
If they are disconnected unintentionally, it could be due to:
- End of year changes in your School Information System
- Changes to your authentication settings with School Manager
If a parent or guardian is disconnected unintentionally, contact Linewize Support.
